Historical Background

Stockport Green Party was founded as the Stockport Ecology Party in 1980. It has been active continuously since then, a longer period than for any other Green Party in the north-west of England.

Meetings

As from May 2009 the Party meets on the first Thursday of the month. Details of the next meetings can be found here. These meetings are open to the public

Sunflower Newsletter

The party issue a newsletter 6 times during the year, to which non-members can subscribe.

Costs = £5 waged / £2-50 low - unwaged.
